PASSIVE HOUSE
Energy efficiency and comfort
Passive house is an affordable building concept based on energy efficiency and comfort.
The objective is to stop the climate crisis that threatens our planet by improving the quality of life inside the home
What is a passive house?
In the late 1980s, building physicist Wolfgang Feist developed the concept that came to light in 1990 through the construction of a housing complex in Germany.Today the Passive House Institute regulates and promotes the construction of a type of housing that respects the environment.
This type of building allows
- Energy savings related to the air conditioning of the home of up to 90%.
- An efficient use of the sun that makes current heating systems unnecessary.
- A high level of comfort that maintains the same indoor air temperature regardless of the outside climate.
- An indoor ventilation system that imperceptibly provides constant fresh air.
